HomeGo Removals & Packing Ltd ("we", "us", "our") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains — in plain English — what personal data we collect when you use our website or contact us, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. We are UK GDPR compliant and registered as the data controller at 93B Gore Road, Burnham, Slough, Berkshire SL1 7DD.
When you request a quote, book a move or contact us we collect your name, phone number, email address, move-from and move-to postcodes, move date, property size and any notes you give us (e.g. parking, stairs, fragile items). We also log basic website analytics — pages viewed, anonymised IP, referring URL, browser/device type — via Google Analytics 4.
We use your details only to: (1) reply to your enquiry and prepare a written quote, (2) schedule and complete your move if you book with us, (3) send you a follow-up message asking for a review, (4) improve our website and advertising via aggregated analytics. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
For quote requests and bookings our lawful basis is 'contract' (processing is necessary to respond to your request). For review follow-ups and marketing emails our basis is 'legitimate interest' — you can opt out at any time by replying 'stop' to any email or SMS.
We use Google Analytics 4 (G-NC5CQJQBKF) and Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are useful and which to improve. You can opt out of analytics cookies via the cookie banner or your browser settings. See our Cookies Policy page for full details.
Enquiry data we keep for 2 years. Booking, invoice and insurance data we keep for 7 years in line with HMRC and insurance requirements. Website analytics are retained for 14 months in aggregated form.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability. Your data is stored on UK / EU-based servers protected by TLS encryption in transit and encrypted at rest. Access is limited to HomeGo staff who need it to serve you. We do not store payment card details — payments run through PCI-DSS compliant providers.
